Mind Nook ("we", "our", or "the app") is a puzzle game. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the app and how it is used.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. All game progress (stars, coins, completed levels, settings) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. Nothing is transmitted to our servers — we don't have any.

2. Data Collected by Third Parties (Advertising)

Mind Nook uses Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect the following on our behalf:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) — used to show relevant ads. On iOS 14.5+, this requires your explicit permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• Approximate location — derived from your IP address by Google, not from your device's GPS or location sensors.
• Ad interaction data — whether you viewed or tapped an ad.

If you decline the tracking permission prompt on iOS, non-personalized ads will be shown instead. The game works fully either way.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Name, email address, or any account information (no login required)
• Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
• Precise GPS location
• Health or financial data
• Any user-generated content (the game has no chat or social features)

4. Children's Privacy

Mind Nook is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because AdMob behavioral ads require user consent, the app requests ATT permission before serving personalized ads. If you are a parent and believe your child has been exposed to personalized ads without consent, please contact us and we will direct you to Google's opt-out tools.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All game data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data. We hold no server-side data to delete on request.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL and the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
